Ring light enclosure for Ender 3
This is an enclosure for an Adafruit NeoPixel 16 LED RGBW ring. It is designed to slide onto the carriage plates of the hot end. The tolerances are fairly tight, so you may wish to edit the model to fit your own needs. I'm including both the .stl file and the Fusion360 file for easier editing. Some light sanding or filing may be required, depending on your print quality, but my printed pieces went together with minimal modification. Additional hardware used for joints and fastening the ring enclosure as follows:
1 - M5 x 10mm Chicago fastener
1 - M3 x 25mm screw with washer and nut
1 - M5 x 30mm screw with 5mm wing nut
One other note: The joints contain 3mm fillets to allow some flexibility in the angle. These can be adjusted to provide more or less play, but as designed, it provided exactly enough play to give me the back lighting angle I wanted for my setup.
